Charlcie “Charlie” Joan Morrison Zavala

​Charlcie Joan Morrison Zavala, 86, formerly of El Paso, TX passed away on Monday, April 27, 2020 at Whittier Hills Healthcare Center in Whittier, CA. Born in Brownwood, TX on February 2, 1934, Charlcie was the only daughter of Gladys and Gordy Morrison of Brownwood, TX. Charlcie graduated from Brownwood High School and attended LaSalle Extension University online to receive a degree in Writing. Charlcie worked as an Executive Secretary for the El Paso Natural Gas Company, was a DAR member, and was an avid aficionado in the Barrera Taurine Club of El Paso, TX.

Charlcie is survived by her husband of 48 years, Eduardo Zavala; her children Terry & Diana Clements of Corpus Christi, TX, Jeanette & Joseph Fasone of Whittier, CA, Scott & Kari Clements of Telluride, CO, Eduardo & Cathy Zavala II of Chino Hills, CA, Larry & Sandi Zavala of San Antonio, TX, Mariana & Daniel Sherwood of Fort Worth, TX, and Barbara & Thomas Linke of Odenton, MD; grandchildren Ian, Sophia, Zane, Nicholas, Ryan, Keegan, Zachary, Michael, Brandon, Cameron, Austin, Ciara, Jeremy, Jacob, Raven, Gabrielle, Amanda, Andreas, and Matthias; and great grandchildren Alexandria, Julian, Serenity, Adrian, Jackson, Sienna, Jaxson, Nayeli, Eliana, Araceli, Jeremy Jr. This fun-loving, witty, and charming wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother will be missed!
