Jeffrey David Lawrence, known to his loved ones as Jeff, has passed away at the age of 52 on January 8th, 2024, in Seal Beach, California. Born on September 20th, 1971, in Bellflower, California, Jeff brought joy and laughter to all those who knew him.
Jeffrey was the beloved son of David and Gay Lawrence, who supported him throughout his life's journey. Alongside his parents, he is survived by his cherished son, Christopher Lawrence (Lyndsay), who was the pride and joy of his life. Jeff was also a beloved brother, leaving behind his brothers Gary Lawrence (Kristin), Stephen Lawrence (Janet), and sister Tonya Brown (Jeff), who will deeply miss his presence. In Heaven, he will join his brothers Kenny, Danny, Ray, and Christopher's mother, Kimberlee.
Jeffrey's childhood was filled with love and cherished memories. As he grew, his passion for design and creativity became evident. He pursued his dreams and obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design, setting the stage for a successful career. With his exceptional talent, Jeffrey became a highly sought-after Graphic Designer, leaving an indelible mark on numerous renowned companies. He contributed to the success of iconic brands such as Van's and Nike, using his skills to bring their visions to life.
His artistic prowess also extended to the world of film and television. Jeffrey lent his expertise to films such as Speed Racer and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, where his designs were seen in movie posters. He also played a vital role in the television industry, working as a Graphic Designer for the beloved show, Pushing Daisies.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Jeffrey had a zest for life and a range of interests that he pursued with great enthusiasm. He found solace and joy in fishing, indulging his passion for being on the water and spending time with friends & family. His love for Star Wars was unparalleled, and he could often be found immersed in the epic saga, sharing laughs and memorable moments with his son. Jeff found peace and tranquility on the beach, where he would often walk the Seal Beach pier.
Jeffrey Lawrence will be fondly remembered as a reliable and caring individual, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. His infectious happiness had the remarkable ability to light up a room, and his sense of humor was simply unmatched. As a father, he poured immeasurable love and guidance into the life of his son, Christopher, who will forever remember the impact of his father's unwavering support and companionship.
To honor and celebrate the life of Jeffrey Lawrence, a service will be held at Candlewood Church, 6022 Candlewood St., Lakewood, CA 90713, offering an opportunity for family, friends, and community members to pay their respects. Services will be held on February 24th, 2024, at 10 am. Flowers can also be sent to the church in advance.
